Phil is a law graduate (LLB Hons and PGDL) with over 15 years successful track record in the international telecommunications sector, most recently as Commercial Director EMEA for the (US-based) Data Networks division of Marconi Corporation Plc.
Whilst with Marconi, Phil negotiated and managed complex commercial relationships with customers and partners including BT, Siemens, Nokia, Ericsson, Nortel, European Central Bank, UK MOD and General Electric.
Louise Hazel, Sports Business Researcher, brings the vital perspective of an international sportsperson. Louise’s goal for 2010 is to represent England in the Heptathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, building towards her long-term aim of representing Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Louise is a graduate from Birmingham University with a degree in French Studies. She competes for the world-famous Birchfield Harriers and is an emerging sports personality, speaking at conferences and awards ceremonies.
